1. No Purchase Necessary

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAID MEMBERSHIP WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Each giveaway is open to all eligible participants regardless of whether they purchase anything or hold a paid membership. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

2. Sponsor

The sponsor of each giveaway is [TCGDeals, contact email TBD] ("Sponsor"). All questions or comments regarding a giveaway must be directed to the Sponsor at the contact above and not to any platform, retailer, or social network.

3. Eligibility

Each giveaway is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (or the age of majority in their state, whichever is greater) at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor and their immediate family or household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law.

4. How to Earn Points and Enter (Free Methods)

During a live giveaway, you may earn points through free actions on the TCGDeals site, including: creating a free account (one-time signup bonus), completing a daily check-in, spending time browsing, and completing eligible site actions. Paid members may earn points at a faster rate than free users, but that faster rate falls within a published range of approximately two to four times (2x-4x) the free rate and does not change your odds beyond the resulting entry count. Points convert to entries at a rate of 1 point = 1 entry. Future promotions may include mail-in or scratch-off bonus codes; any such codes will be governed by Section 11 (Free Method of Entry) below.

5. Entry Mechanics and Caps

1. Entries are credited automatically when your accumulated points cross each 100-point threshold for the active giveaway.
2. Each giveaway runs for a thirty (30) day period. Points and entries are specific to the giveaway period in which they are earned unless the rules for that giveaway state otherwise.
3. Sponsor may set a maximum number of entries per person per giveaway; any such cap will be stated in the giveaway listing. Entries obtained through fraud, automation, bots, or multiple or fake accounts are void.
4. Limit one account per person. Use of any system to earn points or entries by automated means is prohibited and is grounds for disqualification.

6. Equal Dignity of Free and Paid Entries

All entries, however earned, are treated equally in the drawing. An entry earned entirely through free methods has the exact same chance of being selected as an entry associated with a paid membership. Paid membership only affects how quickly points accumulate; it confers no advantage in the random selection itself.

7. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for a given giveaway. Your chance of winning equals the number of entries you hold divided by the total number of entries received from all participants during that giveaway period.

8. Winner Selection and Notification

1. Winners will be chosen in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the giveaway period. The drawing will be conducted within ten (10) days after the close of each giveaway, and the selection process will be documented and retained by Sponsor.
2. Each potential winner will be notified using the contact information associated with their account, within a reasonable time after the drawing.
3. If a potential winner does not respond within five (5) days of the first notification attempt, is found ineligible, or declines the prize, that potential winner forfeits the prize and Sponsor may, at its discretion, select an alternate winner by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.

9. Prizes, ARV, and Substitution

The prize and its approximate retail value ("ARV") will be stated in each giveaway listing. No cash or other substitution is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prizes are non-transferable. All prize details not specified in these rules are determined by Sponsor.

10. Taxes

All federal, state, and local taxes on a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. For any prize or aggregate winnings with a value of six hundred dollars ($600) or more in a calendar year, the winner may be required to complete a Form W-9, and Sponsor may issue a Form 1099-MISC. Failure to provide required tax documentation may result in forfeiture of the prize.

11. Free Method of Entry (Mail-In / AMOE)

[Placeholder - to be finalized with counsel.] In addition to the free on-site methods described above, an alternate method of entry will be available at no cost. To request entries by mail, hand-print your full name, address, email, and the name of the giveaway on a 3x5 card and mail it to the address that will be published in the final rules. Mail-in requests are subject to the same per-person entry caps as on-site entries, and the specific terms (entries per mailing, postmark and receipt deadlines, and mailing address) will be set out in the attorney-reviewed final rules before any giveaway opens.

12. Privacy

Information you provide in connection with a giveaway is collected and used by Sponsor in accordance with its Privacy Policy, and primarily to administer the giveaway, verify eligibility, and contact winners. Sponsor will not sell your entry information. By entering, you consent to this use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Registration and Bonding (NY / FL)

New York and Florida require registration and bonding for promotions in which the total value of all prizes offered exceeds five thousand dollars ($5,000) in the aggregate. Sponsor commits to either (a) keeping the aggregate prize value of each giveaway at or below $5,000 so that registration is not required, or (b) completing the required registration and bonding in New York and Florida before opening any giveaway that exceeds that threshold.

14. Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from participation in a giveaway or acceptance or use of a prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or technically failed entries, or for errors in the administration of a giveaway. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify a giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity of the giveaway.

15. General

These rules are governed by the laws of the United States and the Sponsor's home state, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Void where prohibited. This is a draft; the final, attorney-reviewed Official Rules will control once a giveaway is live.
